Club Hotel Dolphin is a scenic 4 star hotel located in Waikkal, Negombo. Co-energi performed an energy audit that consisted for 5 consecutive days during November 2017. The team assessed key systems of the facility, namely; electrical utility system – main grid, power distribution and the standby generator, solar PV System, lighting system, air conditioning system, swimming pools and domestic water supply. Our team identified several energy efficiency measures worth approximately LKR 9,778,488.32 per annum excluding solar PV system cost saving. These savings represent approximately 17% of the annual energy usage of the facility.

The audit was performed by expert team in Coenergi on February, 2013 collecting data for a consecutive 4 days period. Ceylon Knit Trends (Pvt) Ltd. – Eheliyagoda facility which is located in Eheliyagoda, Ratnapura district, consulted Coenergi for their facility to perform energy audit for the factory during February, 2013. The team assessed key systems of the facility, namely; Electrical utility system – Main grid and the standby generator, Lighting system, Steam generation and distribution system, Compressed air system, HVAC system and Production machinery. Coenergi recommendations showed a potential total electricity saving of 691487.6 kWh per annum and thermal energy saving 667.4 GJ per annum for the total facility.

Vogue Tex PVT Ltd. consulted Co-energi to conduct energy audit for their apparel facility in Weligama, Matara. The audit was performed by expert team in Coenergi on October, 2013 collecting data for a consecutive 4 days period. The team assessed key systems of the facility, namely; Electrical utility system – Main grid and the standby generator, Lighting system, Steam generation and distribution system, Compressed air system, HVAC system and Production machinery. Coenergi recommendations showed a potential annual total electricity saving of 139003 kWh. The thermal energy saving was estimated as 650.4 GJ per annum.
Hirdaramani Industries – Kahathuduwa

Kahathuduwa facility of Hirdaramani Industries consulted Coenergi (Pvt) Ltd. to perform an energy audit for their factory during May, 2014. Systems assessed are; Electrical utility system – Main grid and the standby generator, Lighting system, Steam generation and distribution system, Compressed air system, HVAC system and Production machinery. The total electricity saving potential from carrying out the recommendations from Coenergi was 201,793 kWh per annum and thermal energy saving was 868517 MJ per annum.
Regency Garments Ltd. – Unit 03

Located at Chittagong export processing zone (CEPZ), Bangladesh, Regency Garments factory unit 3 building processes mainly involve sewing, cutting, finishing in its’ operations. The team assessed key systems of the facility, namely; Electrical utility system – Main grid and the standby generator, Lighting system, Steam generation and distribution system, Compressed air system, HVAC system and Production machinery. Historical data analysis was performed over one year period from January 2016 to December 2016. Annual energy cost saving of 40,000 USD and annual water cost saving of 1,715 USD was estimated due to Coenergi recommendations.

Hameedia (Pvt) Ltd. consulted Coenergi (Pvt) Ltd. to conduct an energy audit for their head office, which is situated in Borupana, Rathmalana. Co-energi performed the audit by collecting data for 5 consecutive days during November 2018. The team assessed key systems of the facility, namely; electrical utility system – main grid, power distribution and the standby generator, Lighting system, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation system, steam generation and distribution system, compressed air system. Co-energi specifically used Thermal Imaging technology to identify heat energy losses in equipment and electrical systems as a new and more accurate technique for this project.

Our team identified annual financial savings 4.58 Million BDT just by optimizing oxygen level in their gas boiler flue gas. Total annual energy cost saving estimated according to our recommendations were 5.28 Million BDT
